About Polly Grimaldi, B.S.
Polly Smoot Grimaldi is a graduate registered nurse from Bryn Mawr Hospital
and a nutritionist. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology
from Washington College and continued her nutritional studies at
the University of Delaware. She has lectured widely throughout the
tristate area and hosted both her own daily radio program on nutrition
and a weekly television show "Alive and Well with Polly."
She has also authored numerous books and manuals on complementary
medicine.
Polly has received numerous honors and awards.
- She received a Delaware Arthritis Association Award
for her outstanding contribution to the treatment of arthritis.
- She is listed in the 2000 edition
of "Who's Who in America," "Who's Who in the World,"
and "Who's Who in the Medical Profession."
- In the fall of 2006, she was honored by the White House in Washington, D.C. with an Outstanding Citizen Award for the state of Delaware.
- She was honored by inclusion in the 2006 "Who's Who in Diabetes Treatment, Education, and Research" as well as the 2006 "Who's Who in Education".
- Polly was the recepient of the Marie Curie Award in 2006 for significant contributions to modern medicine.
- Polly received the American Diabetes Award for outstanding contribution to Diabetes education..
For
over 30 years Polly has counseled patients and lectured to business
groups, churches and medical professionals. Her message is always
the same - "You need not be a victim in the face of illness."
Whether counseling one on one with a patient or lecturing to hundreds
of people, Polly takes us through the steps of healing. Her unique
program of exercise, dietary changes and prayer have blessed people
throughout the United States. Her published
